Christmas Morning

They all still have sleepy eyes but are ready to be awake!

After the mad dash to rip everything open, in a somewhat orderly fashion, this is what we wound up with. A lot more stuff that wont fit into our house!

I love this picture with her eyes popping out of her head. Helena was so excited for her new toys!

This makes me laugh! Sophia and Daniel were so excited to show Helena her new Musical band. They both played with it for much longer than she did!

James got Helena a mirror for the car so she could see mommy and not cry all the time. (It works half the time!)
This was Helena's first Christmas. All the kids were so excited to show her things!

Grandma Robison sent cute jammies for the girls! They loved them!

Hawaii Sheraton Bowl

The boys wanted to go to one last UH game while we were here in Hawaii so I surprised them. For an early Christmas present I got them tickets to the Hawaii Sheraton Bowl.

James was very into the game!

He didn't want to be bothered with distractions!

Daniel was all about the snacks and half-time show.

During Half- Time a butterfly landed on a ladies hat sitting near them. The only way to get James away from football is with bugs! He loved it!

Daniel for the last half of the game got to play with the camera to keep himself occupied. Most of what he was taking pictures of wasn't worth keeping, but I couldn't resist this one.

Helena's First Rice!

December 23, 2010 Helena had baby rice for the first time on December 23rd. She could have started a little sooner but life was a bit crazy with family in town and so many events happening in our lives.

She really liked the rice.

She is such a cute girl! (Almost 7 months!)

Saying Goodbye to the Keith's

December 21, 2010

The Keith kids spent their last day here with us. Poor Patrick and Paul were so tired from all the excitement of moving and being in a hotel. Patrick fell asleep on Sophia and Paul was resting on him. Sophia really loves her Patrick!
This is one family we will miss forever!
It was like having a sister right next door. We leaned on each other for everything:
Watching kids, planning PTSO events, emotional support, etc.

Philip and James were best friends. They were so good for each other!

Daniel and Paul were mischief in the making!

Daniel really misses Paul. There aren't many boys that fit Daniel's personality quite like Paul.

Patrick and Sophia were together every day. They could always make each other smile.

We really miss Patrick!

Cat! I miss her so much!

She is an amazing person and a person to pattern my life after. She is extremely organized, talented, good at dealing with people, and forgiving. She is a great friend!

We really miss them~! We will see them again!

Wolf Badge

December 21, 2010

James earned his Wolf Badge. He only came into Cub Scouts in September and has earned his Wolf already. He loves Cub Scouts. He loves being able to pass things off and earn things!

James was very excited to earn his Wolf. His Cub master, Cliff Nowell, presented him his Wolf. His Wolf Leaders are Jocelyn Dodson and Paula Thompson.

His goal now is to earn EVERY Belt loop in the Belt loop book.

Crafts with Grandma Packer

December 19, 2010Daniel and Sophia are always ready for a craft. Grandma was prepared and brought one with her. They made cute reindeer with their hands and shoe prints.

Daniel was sure he could do it all by himself, but Sophia wanted some help!

Sophia eats this stuff up! She is a craft a minute kind of girl!

He needed a bit of help after all!

He loves to cut, he could do that all on his own.

Somehow I didn't get a picture with the nose on. The kids had a great time with Grandma and doing crafts!
