NERF!!!

Nerf has taken over our neighborhood!
James is a Nerf Captain. He is on the Ford Island 'Team'. It is very serious in our neighborhood. Who would expect Military kids to come up with their own rank structure and have spies and things. It is a very serious game, the boys love it!
Daniel is pretty fierce!
He is on the team as well. He is a great spy and loves to help out!
Be ware... the Packer boys are here!

Pretty impressive!

I love these boys!

Helena 4 Months old!

Helena turned 4 months old!

She is so smiley now. We don't have to beg for smiles anymore!

She has gained almost 4 pounds this month. We don't know what happened, she decided one day that she does like to eat and her formula IS yummy!

She is also starting to sit up. She can't do it on her own, just enough to knock herself over.

And what you have all been waiting for... She has 2 teeth. She broke them through a little over a week ago. None of my other kids got teeth this early.

I love the smiles and the big eyes and cheeks.

Her eyes are almost as big as the puppy's eyes!

Such a big girl!
She had her 4 month doctors appointment today, she weighs 13 lbs 2 ounces and was 25 inches long. She is doing really well! The doctor says she is just going to be on the smaller side! She will fit right in with the rest of the Boynton family cousins (maybe I should just say Brittany!) She is doing really well and has caught up on most everything except that she isn't very vocal. He will see her again at 6 months to see how she is doing!

James gets his Bobcat and Emergency Preparedness Pin

September 28, 2010
James got to be part of the Flag Ceremony for his first pack meeting. He is the one with the yellow hat.
Pure excitement...

This is James being awarded his Bobcat and his Emergency Preparedness Pin by Brother Nowell.
I wasn't there because I was told by another parent that they didn't have the awards for the boys and would be giving them out next month. I sent the camera with Sterling just in case, good thing I did. So Sterling filled in and took pictures for me.

This is James' excited face. He was so excited to be getting his Bobcat. He loves cub scouts

Random Events at the Packer House

Sophia loves to feed Helena. Every time she does she says "Mom, take my picture!". She is such a good 'little mama'.

Cinnamon has this thing with digging in the dog water bowl in the house. So we filled up Sophia's little pool and let Cinnamon play in it. She loved it. She was in it over an hour just pawing at the water. I am sure she would have stayed in it longer but I dumped it out so she could dry off before coming in the house.

She liked the water when it would overflow. She would paw at it even more.

Yep, she is feeding Laynie again!

Laynie is starting to get better at 'tummy time'. She still doesn't use her arms to push up really but she has a very strong neck and back so she lifts up her head to see what is going on.

Sophia was such a good sister to help Helena with 'Tummy time'.

Our neighbor gave us this cute 'Little Eisenstein's' bouncer for Helena.

She isn't quite big enough for it, I had to prop a blanket in front of her but she liked it for a few minutes.

This reminded me of Grandpa DeVroom more than anything.
Daniel saw this on "cool tricks" on Yo Gabba Gabba and thought he would try it out at dinner time. Of course all the kids needed to try it out!

Sophia thought it was pretty hilarious!

James doing his trick as well.

Daniel wanted to step it up a notch, and see how he could balance the spoon another way. Daniel is all DeVroom. Grandpa DeVroom used to do the spoon trick when I was little. It is only fitting it be Daniel who brings it into our family.

James is ready to be a cub scout!

James was ready for his first night of scouts! He was so excited! He has the 'spirit' of scouting!

James turns 8!

This is posted a little late as well.. but better late than never!
James got a bike from Mom and Dad for his birthday. We have pictures but they must be on Sterling's camera because I can't find them. When Sterling gets back I will post them! James got all of his cub scout stuff for his birthday. He is so excited to start scouts!

It was a heavily Nerf birthday!

Nerf battles are all the rage in our neighborhood and now James is ready!

Oh the suspense.. what could it be?

Yep.. A Clear Strike Nerf Gun
(Thanks to the Grandparents that sent money to help fund it!)

Now, where is the Nerf War?

James' Birthday cake.
Happy 8 James!

He had his friend Philip over for some birthday cake.

It was a clown, but James took off the head before the picture.
I got James' pictures taken but we are still waiting for them to come back. I will post them when they get here.
James' Stats:
He is 4 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 60 lbs, and wears size 4 shoes.
