Hickam Beach!

Saturday
July 26, 2008
This is the Hickam Beach on Hickam Air Force Base. It was really nice because even though it was Saturday afternoon it wasn't very busy at all. It was really shallow and really calm. We all had a really great time!~
This was a really cool beach. It was only about 12 to 18 inches deep for quite a ways. It was really nice to be able to play in the water, but not have to worry to much about the kids being nocked down or carried away!
Daniel loved pulling out the seaweed and other 'stuff' out of the water.
He was on a treasure hunt!

James found a little crab... We tried to take a closer picture of it but it kept disappearing. If there is wildlife to be found, he will find it!
This started as Mommy and Daddy digging and was quickly taken over by James and "Pirate Daniel". Daniel was the sabateur, along with the ocean water, James was doing his best to keep up the banks and keep the water out!

We really had a great day at Hickam Beach today!

I have to say I'm a little envious. We have a few friends stationed over there. Maybe just a visit. I don't know if I want to pay 7 bucks for a gallon of milk. I thought 5 was a lot.

I have to admit I'm a little jealous. Those beaches look soooo beautiful! Wow!

Don't worry, Hannah's vibe will eventually make it to Sophie over all these miles and will help lift her up and help her walk! LOL! Good luck when she starts walk, Hannah is already doing so much better than 2 days ago!
