Making "rain angels"

James said he was ready to go inside.... so they started taking their wet clothes off, then it started to rain hard again. Daniel still wanted to run and evidently so did Sterling!
"Packer Power!".. Daniel started the name Packer Power. When we lived with Shelli we adopted from her family the sign language "I love you" sign. Anywhere you are you can sign and it doesn't make noise. You can see it across a room or up close. Daniel started calling it "Packer Power". So now that is what we do every time we come home, or are leaving, and before bed. "Packer POWER!"

The Best Things in Life Are Free
When we count our many blesings; it isn't hard to see that life's most valued treasures are the treasures that are free.
~ For it isn't what we own
or buy that signifies our wealth. ~It's the special gifts that have no price: our family, friends, and health.
Our Song:
We were given the assignment to come up with "our song". (Sterling said any song that makes me want to make out with him could be our song, but that list was pretty long so we had to narrow it down some!) Well it took two weeks and lots of song searching. We couldn't come up with just one.. so here are our five songs.
From This Moment On... by Shania Twain
They Way You Look Tonight..by Frank Sinatra
When I Fall in Love.. by Celine Dion and Clive Griffin
Power of Love.. by Celine Dion
Somewhere.. by Barbara Streisand

This is an utterly fantastic blog entry. There's about 8" of snow outside. It's pretty, but you couldn't have posted anything that speaks more about where you live now. "Rain angels" indeed. Pretty cute.
LOVED the videos!! Wow!!!! That looks like so much fun! It's good to see a grown man making "rain angels." :) :)
How fun! Way to make a rainy day enjoyable and memorable!
how fun. i love warm places where it rains, my boys love playing in the rain. if it rains after school they never want me to pick them up. they want to ride their bikes in the cold rain. whenever it rains they go right away to the trampoline to jump. i guess it's more fun when it's wet@
Too funny! What a fun dad to get out there too! Merry Christmas!
That is so awesome! Go Sterling! I'm so glad there wasn't a car coming while he was doing his rain angel. It looks like a lot of fun!
I love it. Sterling you are a wonderful Dad! I love you laying in the puddle with James. Soo cute. Well if you can't have snow rain is the next best thing right?
Sophia you are so brave to stand in the rain!! or mist...
OH MY GOSH!!! That is sooooo funny! I wish I could come join you guys! Enjoy that AWESOME weather!!!
Fun times. I can't believe how much rain you got. I do prefer the rain over the snow. I hate driving in it.
Isn't there some quote about how we're not supposed to pray for the storm to pass, but rather learn to dance [or ride our bikes] in the rain? Way to go James for not letting rain get in the way of a good time. In fact, that sounds like one of the best ways to spend an afternoon. This will be one of the memories your family will never forget.
Yuck on the rain but it looks like they had a wonderful time. It will be something they always remember. And oh my, tiny Sophia cannot be 15 months old already!
Looks like alot of fun. Give the kids a dry hug. WE have enough snow for snowmen. Maybe Sterling can teach his father what a "water angel" is!!!!!Marva
AN AMAZING DAD~
FUNNY~
