Not many of you will understand but after living in the same house for 18 months, I am ready for a new house! However, we will be here for another 18 months! The longest we have ever been in one place in the last 10 years is 15 months. I feel like we are exploding out of this house and I wanted something new, so I decided painting would be something different. I know it doesn't change anything but the color, but hopefully it will be enough to help me stay sane in the house for 18 more months.

The lighting in this picture is a little funky but you can see it!
I only did the island and the wall by the front door that arches the kitchen but I like it!We have to paint it all white again before we move, but at least we could paint it!
It was a nice 2 day project that hopefully will last a while and help me like my house more!

well you have us a beat. in the last 8 1/2 yrs the longest we've lived anywhere is currently 22 months.

I love it! When I saw the finished product of the island I thought it was a from a magazine. It looks awesome. Love the color...that's what I originally wanted to do for our kitchen in Grovetown but ended up doing a different color. I love painting, as soon as school start again here I'm finally going to paint the kids rooms here...the fleas kind of slowed me down on that project.
