On the day of the Tsunami Warning, Feb 27th, Sophia, Daniel, Lady and I went for a walk on Ford Island down to the community center and the water to get out of the house for a while and to watch all the ships leave the harbor. I found this big shell. It was so cool. Daniel was so excited he carried it all the way home for me. Sterling looked up on line how to clean it up. Now it is almost all opalescent and very pretty. I think I liked it better brown like it is hear in the pictures but it was pretty stinky. After soaking it in bleach for about a week it is almost all clear of the brown growth and all white and pearly white. It is pretty cool. I will post more pictures when it is all clean.

That is just awesome! Way to go for the primary talent show. Wow, that is a lot of kids. The last ward had close to 90 and that was the largest primary we've ever been in.
So let me get this straight. There is a tsunami warning and you go down to walk along the beach??? Does something seem a little off in that statement?!? :)
Those are some sweet shells!
The Lego guy really adds a lot. I appreciated the size comparison. :)
oh my gosh Staci I was really behind. Three posts. Sorry I have been out of town.
That is a huge shell. It's funny how bad they smell hu? I remeber picking things up from the beach and bleaching them still it takes a long time for that smell to go away. UGGGGHHHHH
Can't wait to see your beautiful shell all white and clean.
Daniel is so nice to share is Lego man with you.
