Sweets Candy Company / McDonalds - June 2

Before we got to Utah I had made a schedule of all the fun things that we wanted to do while we were there, one of the things we like to do is go to the Sweets Candy Factory in West Valley City. The kids love to see how candy is made and even more than seeing it, they like to buy the candy at the end of the tour in the candy shop. You can by the 'seconds' of lots of different candies for pretty cheap!

During the tour they make everyone wear funny hair nets and take off all jewelry. We couldn't take pictures during the tour but I couldn't resist taking a picture after the tour of my baby, only 3 days old with her hair net.

Sterling took this picture of her sound asleep.

The kids were so great after the tour to take their turns holding Helena on the bench.

After our tour Shelli's kids wanted to take us to their new "cool" Mc Donalds.
I have to say, this was the coolest play place I had ever seen.
It was all musical instruments that actually made noise. The kids could run and jump on anything and it would make noises. The piano on the wall could be played like an actual piano. It was pretty fun!

Big surprise.... Daniel liked the drums the best!

Sophia liked the piano slide. Most of the kids were climbing all over it so it was hard to use as a slide but it too was very cool!

Funny Girl!
Playing at the play place was exactly what the kids needed. We were there for about 2 hours and they could have stayed longer. The older boys were playing basketball and having a great time (but I didn't get their pictures!)
It was a fun day, nice to finally get to be on vacation!
