Backyard Camping!

The boys were supposed to go on the Father's and Son's campout last night, but Sterling didn't get home until 7:00 and the place the Stake had set up to go was rumored to be covered in Poison Ivy and Poison Oak. So I thought we could just do a campout in the backyard. We had already told the boys about the campout and there was no way not to camp, so why not the backyard? Sterling had some very excited little boys to help him put up the tent.
After they got everything set up we got James' little tent to put up inside it and got everything set up for the night. We had a late dinner of fabulous Pizza Hut pizza camping style, paper plates in the tent. The boys loved it! The boys were so wound up! To try and settle them down a little we put on Star Wars on our portable DVD player. At 11:30 they were still both wide awake and didn't like even close to falling asleep. Sophia and I were already trying to sleep on the air mattress, while the boys were being crazy in "their own" tent. Finally Sterling was able to get them to lay down and they went to sleep about midnight. However, as the sun came up, about 6:30, so did the boys! So not much sleep was to be had, but it was sure a fun time!
