Sophia turns 1!

My baby turned one today! She is such a big girl! The boys were so excited to give her her presents before our 8:30 a.m. church. Everyone got ready really quickly so that we would have time to open presents before we left. She didn't have any idea what to do with the pretty packages. The boys were very willing to help her figure it out! She just liked hugging things. Her favorite was the toy train that you push down the drivers head and it rolls away and makes train noises. After church she got to have her own birthday cake. She got a yummy Strawberry pink cake. She was really cute, first she just kept "tasting" the frosting, finally with a little encouragement she dug into the cake. The boys just sat and watched her and laughed at every funny thing she did. She was getting super tired in her chair, so we gave her a bath in the kitchen sink, put on her new cute clothes and put her down for her nap. After naps we went over to some friends house for dinner and more birthday cake. She was very well celebrated!

She kept putting her cup of water on top of her cake. Daniel thought that was so funny!

She wanted all of us to see how messy she was getting. She was having lots of fun!
