Sophia's growth chart!

Yeah, It is done! This is the growth board that I decorated for Sophia. My sister Stephanie made a really cute one for both James and Daniel and so I was trying to make one for Sophia. I should have just had Stephanie do it. I have no doubt that she would have made it much more detailed and more cute than I did, but it is slowly growing on me. A big THANKS to Stephanie for sending my some cute rub on stickers and letters and paint, because craft stores in Hawaii really don't carry much of anything. There is no Michaels Crafts or JoAnns or anything like it here. If I was going to live here longer I would open up my own craft store or really pressure one of the big chains to come here! Sorry the pictures aren't that great but it is difficult to take a picture of a board that is 5 feet long and 6 inches wide.

Nice Job! How fun to be able to be so crafty! Too bad for you that you don't have a micheals or a JoAnn's. I think I would die without those two stores! keep up the good work!

I'm so proud of you- it looks great! I recognize those Stampin' Up rub-ons. I have been wanting to make one of those for my boys and even bought the wood (2 years ago). You have inspired to me get it done when I get home. I miss you! You are amazing.

There are no craft stores here either - at least american ones. Well, I guess that's not true, there's one on post. But the selection is VERY small and it is EXTREMELY expensive. (Try $8.50 for a color wonder coloring book WITHOUT the markers!!!!) I'm trying to find material for Halloween costumes, so it's off to the German stores. It should be interesting to ask them to cut my fabric seeing as I don't speak German.....The growth chart looks great!
